Because the Terra 40 is such a popular, all-around backpack, The North Face designed a Terra 40 pack specifically for women. Its construction has narrower shoulder straps, a shortened torso length, and a redesigned hipbelt to better fit a women's body. An open air mesh backpanel allows for increased air circulation, while the adjustable sternum strap makes proper positioning a snap. The Terra 40 is a top loader, with a separate sleeping bag compartment. Gear, for which you need easy access to, can be stored in side and front stretch pockets, and when trekking poles are no longer needed, slip them into their respective carrying loops. Stay hydrated with water bottle side pockets and an internal reservoir sleeve. This is a great mid-capacity backpack for long day hikes or overnighters.
