The North Face Varius Guide Jacket is a ski and snowboarding jacket that is waterproof, and highly breathable. Using North Face's proprietary coated HyVent nylon, the jacket repels snow, rain and sleet, while allowing water vapor - sweat, to escape. Stretchy HyVent fabric has been placed in critical areas like the side and arms for added comfort, abrasiveness, and ease of movement, while seams are factory sealed to ensure wind and waterproofness. Added features include a detachable hood for fair weather skiing and a powder skirt and hem drawcord to keep the spindrift at bay. With the North Face zip-in integration, you can add almost any North Face fleece jacket to increase the insulation property of the jacket. Two over-sized handwarmer pockets, a vertical chest pocket and an inside stash pocket round out the features of this ever popular ski jacket.
