The North Face Spectrum 23 Tent is a new ultralight, 2-person, 3-season tent designed for North Face’s Flight Series. Every product in the Flight Series has been designed around the athlete for whom packing light and moving fast is a guiding principle, and the Specturm 23 is an evolution of that principle. Primary weight reduction was achieved by incorporating the traditional rain fly with the tent canopy. This is known as single-wall construction; however the drawback is that single wall fabric is waterproof, and provides no ventilation. But now, you can have your cake and eat it too. Strong cross ventilation is provided through the construction of a high and low vent in the top and lower fringes of the tent, but not at the expense of the structure's integrity. In wind tunnel tests, the Spectrum withstood sustained winds of 132 mph. Added value features include Fusion pitching, fully seamed canopy and floor, free standing design with pull-out vestibule, D-shaped door and color-coded poles. Trail weight is 3lbs 12 oz.
