The North Face Heron 33 is a 3-person, 3-season tent that will meet your camping and backpacking needs for years to come. So rugged and well built is this tent that it's possible your grandkids may inherit it. Innovations abound with this newly designed structure, all designed to reduce weight. The traditional pole and sleeve framework has been replaced with a hub and spoke architecture - eliminating unneeded pole sections, while interior space and headroom have been increased by changing the arc of the tent poles. Silicon, rather than the heavier poly-urethane is used to waterproof the rain-fly and large mesh panels combined with high-low vents provide ample ventilation even on the muggiest of days. Weight reduced microclips attach the canopy to the poles and as a free standing structure, the Heron 33 can be pitched about anywhere. Wide doors, fully taped floor seams, reflective guylines and internal pockets and hang loops round out the amenities on this superbly crafted structure.
