You're going mountain biking; specifically you're heading for Moab to ride the famous Slickrock Mountain Bike Trail, and the fanny pack you'll be using is, of course, the North Face Mountain Biker Lumbar Pack. With a carrying capacity of 550 sq. inches, or 9 liters, there is ample room for a substantial first aid kit, lunch for two, a camera, a cell phone, car keys, wallet and other small items, plus room for two water bottles. A breathable, stitched foam backpanel will minimize the ever present wet spot, while two, over-the-top compression straps will securely hold everything in place. The main pocket has a divider, the water bottle side pockets have elastic retainer loops, and the front compartment is zippered for easy access to car keys, and petty cash. This little waist pack works equally well for day hikes, trips to the park, or just toolin' around town.
