The North Face Geosphere Jacket. One has to wonder at the process North Face uses to generate names for their products, nevertheless, the Geosphere is a highly efficient water-resistant, lined windbreaker. As a shell jacket, it is ultralight, durable and highly compressible, just the ticket to stow in a school book bag for unexpected emergencies. Made from Hydrenalite, a polyester fabric, created for a wide variety of climatic conditions, the Geoshpere is ideally suited for fast and light activities under varying weather conditions. The hood is fully adjustable, as are the Velcro cuffs, and the cinchcord at the hem keeps the elements at bay. When not in use, the jacket stows in the left pocket.
