The North Face Women’s Ray 20 is a fabulous, ultralight multisport backpack with women-specific design features incorporated into the shoulder harness. Suffice it to say, it just fits a woman better. Whether pushing to make the summit before the sun is high in the sky, or pushing the baby stroller to the park, this 1200 cubic inch lightweight pack has room for the essentials and then some. The internal organizer will separate the clothes from the snacks, while the front stash pocket provides quick access to maps, GPS units, handiwipes or baby bottles. For convenience, a jacket can be tucked under the X-bungee cord. The backpanel and shoulder straps are made with E-VAP foam, perforated to reduce weight and aid in airflow circulation. An internal sleeve will accommodate a hydration reservoir or two side pockets will hold water bottles containing your favorite liquid. A sternum strap and stowable hip-belt keep the pack anchored to your body, and should you be out at night around traffic, reflective hits will give you a sporting chance with the 18 wheelers.
