After tramping about in the woods all day, nothing tastes better than a hearty stew, and Mountain House's Chicken Stew is absolutely the finest for ingredients and ease of preparation. Hearty chunks of tender chicken were premixed with potatoes, carrots, peas, corn and onions and left to simmer until the flavors were just right. Then the whole batch was freeze dried, and packaged. With only two cups of boiling water added to the foil pouch, you can immediately reconstitute these premium ingredients and enjoy a sumptuous meal, just like mom used to make.
