The Kershaw Knife Leek Serrated is a great example of forging stainless steel into a finely crafted working knife. To engage the blade, merely push on the thumb stud, and the blade extends to a locking position, then with little effort on the part of the user, the 3" serrated blade makes quick work of rope and cord. Known as Speed-Safe technology, this type of one-handed opening is often preferable and safer. A removable/reversible pocket clip allows the Leek to be worn blade up or blade down.
