The Edelweiss Sharp is considered a super dry rope, as all fibers composing the core and sheath have been coated to resist water absorption. Additionally the sheath fibers have been coated to increase abrasion resistance by 33%. Advanced Rope Control (ARC) is a pattern change half way through the rope that marks the mid-point - important knowledge if the climber expects to be lowered safely to the ground.
